Yorkshire Dance
Welcome to Yorkshire Dance
Yorkshire Dance is a ‘home’ for dance - a place where dance is discovered, created, learned, investigated and developed in a safe, supportive and professional environment.
Based in central Leeds, Yorkshire Dance serves the whole of the Yorkshire region and is an advocate for dance and dancers from across the world.
Yorkshire Dance is almost at the end of its summer term of classes and 13-week courses, offering everyone from complete beginners to dance professionals the chance to learn anything - from ballroom to breakdance, ballet to bollywood.
BUT HERE'S OUR BRAND NEW, VERY EXCITING CLASSES & COURSES BROCHURE FOR SEP 2009 - JUL 2010.

Film-maker Andy Wood asks Yorkshire Dance's Executive Director, "Why is dance important? Do you think there is a dance for everyone in the UK? What is your personal favourite 'dance moment'?"

Inspiring people's lives through the transformational
power of dance
Youth Dance England is the national organisation that champions dance for children and young people. We work to ensure that dance is available to all, both in and out of school settings. Through a shared vision with the national youth dance network and other partners, our aim is to increase access, raise standards and improve progression routes.
