Dancing With Your Neighbours
A short film created by young people from Yorkshire Dance Youth who represent areas of Leeds such as Seacroft and Richmond Hill.
Working alongside professional choreographer Anthony Middleton and group leader Danielle Byars, the group explored dancing with and for their neighbours.
Dancing With Your Neighbours was curated by Yorkshire Dance Youth and Community team and presented as part of the Juncture Youth Dance Fringe, an event which aimed to engage a younger audience with Juncture, a festival of contemporary movement, theatre and film work curated by Wendy Houstoun, March 2014.
Shot on location, the film presents a personal insight into the communities, presenting conversations through dance.
