Two other Ten Week programmes will be taking place before Christmas 2015 – one in Morley with sessions led by Yorkshire Dance, Opera North and Phoenix Dance Theatre, and one in Rothwell with Leeds Grand Theatre & City Varieties, West Yorkshire Playhouse and Yorkshire Dance.
At the end of each Ten Week programme, you and the rest of the participants will be able to decide what you’d like to do next… more dance, more singing, more acting, or something completely different! How about making a radio play??
Young at Arts is a two-year project, part of Time to Shine, a six-year programme delivered by Leeds Older People’s Forum and funded through Big Lottery Fund Ageing Better.
Time To Shine takes a city-wide approach to addressing the social isolation of older people. The LEAF partnership’s Young at Arts will create social opportunities through culture and the arts.
