Body of Work is a contemporary dance piece filled with strong physicality, ambiguous body images and strong references to the striking imagery of Cuban-American body artist Ana Mendieta.

Four diverse and highly proficient artists investigate their physical heritage through reflective and skilfully crafted anatomical autobiographies. The eclectic movements, based on in-depth dance research, merge with fascinating visual effects as images are projected on bodies in motion. Intriguing manipulation of objects and materials combine with an airy and captivating soundtrack to make this stirring and unpredictable new production by MotionManual.
