Artist Sarah Spanton (www.waymarking.org.uk) curates this evening of solo works exploring the relationship between choreography and Live Art.

Spanton’s brief to the artists asked them to embrace this definition of choreography:

‘Choreography is when moving things (could be people) are arranged in space and time – with the dynamic qualities and the pacing of the movement considered throughout the whole’.

The programme questions what might choreography be and looks at how choreographic processes might impact on Live Art practice and vice versa.

Performances by:

Gillian Dyson
Victoria Firth
Sohail Khan
Duncan Marwick
Adam Young

Attend this exciting evening of performance works bringing 2 communities of artists together (Contemporary Dance and Live Art) – and engage in a dialogue which asks what happens when Live Art meets choreography?

The five performances are followed by a discussion led by Sarah Spanton.
