Dance & Health Event – Bradford

Bringing together the health and dance sectors to build partnerships and find out more about each other’s work.

The event will include:

• A presentation on health benefits of dance; summarising the evidence base
• Exploring different dance models and approaches to delivering health outcomes
• Networking sessions for partners from the health sector to share their priorities and work areas with the dance sector and explore how dance can contribute to local priorities
• Live and digital performances of dance projects by local organisations

The event is aimed at local authority partners in public health, social care and education, councillors, dance managers, practitioners and artists plus wider health partners including Clinical Commissioning Groups and VCFS partners.

This programme is funded by Arts Council England to facilitate partnership working between the dance and health sectors, and organized by Bradford Dance Network, Alhambra Theatre and Yorkshire Dance.
