Them Two Dance have made a successful journey around Yorkshire festivals on their Random Tandem this summer, supported by Yorkshire Dance’s Amplified programme.
With the support of Yorkshire Dance’s Amplified programme, Them Two Dance (Connor Quill and Katherine Hollinson) have successfully presented their new outdoor work, Random Acts of Kindness, to audiences across Yorkshire this summer.
The duo received an overwhelming and positive response from the people they encountered at a range of festivals across the region. Yorkshire Dance is very proud to have been able to push them off from the kerb and wave them off on such a successful journey.
If you had the opportunity to spin Them Two’s wheel, don’t forget to carry out your random act of kindness!
Random Acts of Kindness was created with support from Yorkshire Dance’s Amplified programme, Yorkshire Festival 2016 and The Civic, Barnsley, and with public funding from Arts Council England.
Amplified is a development programme committed to presenting work in new contexts and creating a dialogue between audience and artist in Yorkshire and the North.
Over the past year Amplified has supported Yorkshire based artists to explore the potential of projects as well as creating opportunities to test the work in conversation with programmers and audiences. This includes work for venues and new dance spaces, as well as work for festivals and community settings.
