Our New Associates have been very busy this summer performing, developing their audiences and networks. Female duo 70/30 Split (Sophie Unwin & Lydia Cottrell) performed alongside Wendy Houstoun at Touch Wood, the Biennial season of works in progress at The Place (London) where they had a chance to meet with, and talk to other artists and producers. At the Edinburgh Festival they performed for a full house at DanceBase and at Beacons festival they joined many other artists, including Jordan Massarella who brought his #Visitors to perform throughout the 3 days all over the festival site; adding a touch of questionable-glamour to that summer festival vibe.

Sophie: “This was our first experience of a condensed tour and we really got a sense of what it feels like to complete a national tour. Our experiences at each venue were completely different, at Touch Wood we were able to gather feedback from the audience and venue, (as well as Wendy Houston and Gary Clarke in the pub afterwards!) at Heads Up! we got a sense of what it is like to perform to a Edinburgh Fringe crowd and it was really great to finish up at Beacons Festival where we had so much fun and got to watch some very special performances over the whole weekend in The Impossible Lecture Tent.”
