Are you passionate about dance? Are you a highly motivated individual? We are looking to recruit a new teacher to join our fun, friendly and dedicated team at babyballet, Halifax. Ideally this person will be available on a Saturday. We are looking for somebody with previous experience of teaching children, especially those within the pre-school sector and ideally somebody familiar with the RAD ballet syllabus. Successful candidates will receive full training on the babyballet syllabus.

PERFORMING ARTS DEGREE ACADEMIC TUTORS
Urdang Academy in London is expanding the academic faculty for its innovative BA (Hons) Professional Dance and Musical Theatre degree, validated by the University of East London, from September 2012. The posts are freelance and applicants should possess a good arts degree (essential) and have experience of teaching at Degree level in one or more of the following areas: history and appreciation of musical theatre, dance, or theatre; cultural studies; academic study skills. Applicants with a background as a librarian, library manager, learning resources or learning support manager would also be welcome.

Youth Dance Associate post for Halsway Manor

We are offering a fixed-term, part-time post for a dance practitioner who can engage effectively with young people and develop our youth dance programme – including the formation of a (traditional/folk-based) dance company for young people that can perform locally, nationally and internationally. The successful applicant will either be a folk dance teacher/practitioner with demonstrable experience of working successfully with young people OR a contemporary dance practitioner / teacher who wants to explore traditional music and dance in a range of work.
