If you are looking for inspiration, creativity and originality, then Yorkshire Dance is the venue for your business event; a versatile venue in the fast-developing cultural quarter of central Leeds. With exposed brickwork, wooden beams and high ceilings, it’s a unique place where you and your guests are guaranteed a warm welcome.

Converted from a former wallpaper warehouse, Yorkshire Dance boasts three quality dance studios with natural daylight, maple wood sprung dance floors, original wooden beam ceilings, good acoustics and up-to-date sound systems. All three are ideal for dance and movement activity.

Studio Three – our largest – makes an excellent seminar and performance space with raked seating for 80 people.

Martha’s Meeting Room

Ideal for business meetings and training sessions, the space can accommodate up to 25 people according to your layout specifications. Studio Three is also an excellent space for a large seminar or presentation.

Yorkshire Dance - The North Space

The North Space

Large carpeted office space with its own kitchen and meeting room, an excellent space for conferences or larger seminars, with seating for up to 50 people in cabaret- or theatre-layout. The North Space would also make a perfect rehearsal room for choirs / drama groups and team building / group training sessions.

The Foyer is a comfortable, informal and stylish space ideal for breakout sessions, registration and breaks. There are always members of the Front of House team on hand.

Make the most of your team day or meeting by starting with an invigorating workshop led by a dance practitioner expert in facilitating groups from all backgrounds. This immediate way of building effective, supportive group dynamics.

Let us pamper you afterwards in our spacious, fully equipped meeting rooms. We can organise lunch and give you use of our foyer, a stylish, informal space ideal for breakouts, registration and breaks.

a gentle introduction to mind movement

Session price £65 + VATIf you want a quick, fun introduction to your morning and afternoon we can offer two 15 minutes sessions of gentle, physical brain- and body-teasers to encourage left/right brain activity and enable delegates to connect with their bodies: the perfect stimulation for a more connective, creative meeting.We produce bespoke packages to meet your requirements.
