Yorkshire Dance inspires young people’s lives through dance.

Working in partnership with Youth Dance England (YDE) we have developed a network of 5 youth dance hubs to help young people, teachers and practitioners make the most of all the youth dance opportunities in the Yorkshire and the Humber region. Each hub has a part time coordinator who can guide practitioners, teachers, young people and the people who work with them to resources funding and partnership opportunities. Yorkshire Dance is the region’s portal for all YDE’s national schemes, such as U.Dance, Dance Links, Stride, Young Creatives and the annual national conference – check out the News section for regular updates on these.

Yorkshire Dance also chairs key regional networks such as the Regional Dance Development Network – for practitioners, project managers and arts officers and the Regional Strategy Advisory Group – a cross sector group of senior decision makers who give youth dance a voice at the highest level.
